Associate Members are firms that supply materials or products to the industry and embrace the goals, policies, and purposes of the Association. Search this category to find hundreds of different marine construction products.
Professional Members are individuals or firms providing professional services to the industry. Search this category to find architects, engineers, consultants, accountants, insurers, permitting experts, and attorneys.
In June, 2008, the Board approved creation of a new class of members, Affiliates, consisting of shipyard artisan contractors who build and repair vessels. The class was created in order to provide these mostly small firms with access to no and low premium workers’ compensation coverage. Affiliates have no voting rights, but, as membership grows, we will list them and their services online.
In addition, the Association recognizes as Charter Members as those firms that cooperated to organize and incorporate Florida Marine Contractors Association, Inc, a Florida Non Profit Corporation.
